Main Article Content
Abstract
This article examines the critical role of English language proficiency for future specialists in digital geoin engineering, a rapidly evolving field at the intersection of petroleum engineering, digital technologies, and subsurface modeling. Drawing on teaching experience at a petroleum university, the author argues that English competency extends far beyond academic requirements to become an operational necessity. The article analyzes three essential domains where English proficiency directly impacts professional effectiveness: navigating digital interfaces and software environments, accessing and comprehending technical documentation and instructions, and participating in international negotiations and partnerships.
