Abstract
This article analyzes the philosophical essence of the concept of tolerance, the stages of its historical formation, and its interpretation in various philosophical views. It also highlights the role of tolerance in the development of society, its importance in stabilizing interethnic and interfaith relations. The article scientifically analyzes the views of ancient and modern thinkers on tolerance, revealing the role of tolerance as a socio-cultural and spiritual factor.
