Abstract
This article examines, based on a comprehensive approach, the causes of economic cycles and macroeconomic fluctuations, as well as their impact on economic development processes. The study analyzes the stages of economic cycles and the internal and external factors influencing their formation, including investment activity, technological advancements, government regulatory policies, and changes in the global economic environment. Furthermore, the impact of macroeconomic fluctuations on production volume, employment levels, and economic stability is scientifically substantiated
